Why Adding a Backdoor Probably Increases Vulnerability

ABOUT THIS PAPER PUBLICATION

  1. Almost every remote access tool has had at least one vulnerability.
  2. Many have had more than one.
  3. Conclusion: adding R.A.T. software to a system typically adds at least one vulnerability that someone eventually finds and/or exploits.
  4. Prediction based on 3: the remote access software they add to any product will make it vulnerable with high probability to at least one attack. Maybe several.
